Introduction
Santa Rosa de Cerritos is a community in the Highland Region of Ecuador. Currently, their water is distributed by a 40-year-old water system that is undersized and deteriorating. The system was built for the size of the community 40 years ago and, therefore, does not supply enough water. In addition, the water provided is not clean as the water apparatus is collapsing on itself. Our goal in partnering with Santa Rosa de Cerritos is to evaluate their system and provide a project that supplies clean water for the entire community!
