Urkupina, Bolivia

Introduction

Urkupina is a community of around 280 people. Currently, they obtain drinking water from the rain, but there are often severe droughts. More recently, community members have bought water from private providers. Our goal in partnering with them is to provide a water distribution solution so that they have clean drinking water freely provided to them. The process of installing a well could already be underway. We will travel in May 2025 to assess the situation, collect data, and determine solutions.
